Monkey nuts are a great way to encourage wild birds to naturally forage for their food. The species of wild birds in particular that enjoy the challenge of breaking the shell of monkey nuts are Jackdaws, Magpies and Crows. Blue tits have also been known to chip away at the shell of a monkey nut!

Monkey Nuts are simply peanuts still contained within the natural shell. They are a versatile way to offer peanuts in your garden, either place on a bird table or hide them around the garden. You can even string some of these together using needle and strong thread and then hang you creation anywhere in the garden and then sit back with a brew and enjoy!
